Over the past 20 years I have worn a few hats in my Career. Primarily a Radio Broadcaster, I have also found it beneficial to expand and work on a variety of projects – as I believe you should never stop learning and developing your skill set. Before returning to school, I was an Operations Manager at MBS Radio Moncton. There I hired, developed, managed and motivated more than 16 employees. I also coordinated and managed a variety of marketing and sales promotion projects. Prior to that in Edmonton, and later Fort McMurray, I started a small Marketing, Graphic Design and Multimedia Company called "StorryBook Multimedia". For nearly seven years, I worked with a variety of clients on marketing projects -- which included creating visual identities, managing branding and communications. Being Owner and Operator, I also sought out new revenue streams for the company by finding new clients.
In a brief hiatus from Radio, I found myself developing a strong background in sales while at Team Ford in Edmonton, Alberta. There, I cold-called clients and worked with walk-in clients to help match them with the best vehicle for their needs. I also liaised with department heads to finish the sale and moved clients to next step to prepare for financing.
